Kath Foulds (Musbury)

So sorry to hear that Kath Foulds passed away this week.
Some of you will remember the Musbury Irish Setters from the 1960s when Kath, and her late husband Wilf, were involved in early testing for PRA by test mating their bitches along with several other pioneering breeders.

One of the bitches bred by Kath and Wilf and owned by June Coates was Musbury Melisande of Twoacres  who was mated to Sh.Ch. Wendover Gentleman and produced the the famous 'T' litter in 1968.

This litter contained Sh Ch. Twoacres Troilus (who went on to become a famous sire as well as an outstanding show dog), Sh.Ch. Twoacres Traviata, Sh.Ch.Twoacres Tamburlaine, Sh.Ch. Twoacres Traviata, Sh.Ch. Twoacres Teresa.

Melisande also produced a further Sh.Ch. in Sh.Ch. Twoacres Wayward Caesar when mated to Sh.Ch. Wendover Ballymoss in 1972.

With deepest sympathy to her family and friends.
