Thank you to all the exhibitors for your entries. Overall I was delighted with the quality of dogs. My principle winners were as the cliché says but absolutely stands, all dogs that I would be very happy to take home with me. One call out from me on todays judging is on presentation and condition of dogs which was mixed; some were presented to a high standard which one would expect at this level and makes such a difference. Whereas others was disappointing. Presentation and condition is not something that happens the day before, it takes days and weeks of work and effort, it is not just coat condition and appropriate trimming but muscular condition too which in too many was lacking.
Minor Puppy: 3 (0 abs)
1st: KERRIMERE CLASSIQUE (MRS J M LORRIMER)
A very promising, upstanding, confident young man. Eye catching in outline and did not disappoint to go over. A really appealing puppy. Liked him a lot. Well balanced throughout. Beautiful head and most appealing expression. Moved with purpose and character, holding his head and top line. Presented in excellent condition, BP
2nd: FORFARIAN'S HIDDEN SECRET WITH RIONORE (MS S J RANDLE)
An appealing puppy. Showed well for a baby. Pleasing head. Straight front and good spring and depth of rib. Not quite the rear angluation of one. Moved well, enjoying himself which is what it’s all about especially at this age.
3rd: SWIFTLARK SECOND THOUGHTS (MRS S S CORLESS)
Puppy: 10 (1 abs)
1st: KERRIMERE CLASSIQUE (MRS J M LORRIMER)
2nd: WYNJILL WINNER TAKES ALL (J HOLLEY)
A racy, elegant boy. Such a lovely personality, happy to be there and happy to do his thing, put a smile on my face. Lovely refined head, dark eye with a lovely expression with good brow. Good, straight front, tight feet. Deep chest and gently sloping top line. A true free, effortless mover.
3rd: GWENDARIFF HERE I COME (MRS L J DEWAR)
Junior : 4 (1 abs)
1st: GWENDARIFF GONNA GO FOR GOLD (MESDAMES I & J MCNEIL & BOYD-MCNEIL)
Attractive in outline. Pleasing head with raised brow giving a soft expression. Powerful in the front with excellent depth of chest and rib. Presented in first class condition, lovely rich coat colour. Good width of thigh. Would just like to see him moved a little more freely on the lead as think this would benefit him.
2nd: GWENDARIFF PINK FLOYD (MRS R JONES)
Racier in type than one with lots to like. Just needs a bit of time but as not quite as balanced overall at this age than 1. Lovely head with good proportions and a rather cheeky expression with appealed. Good length and strength of neck. Well placed shoulders & straight front. Liked his rear angulation which he used well on the move.
3rd: TWOACRES BUBBLING SPRING AT HALINGSWOOD (MRS P A HOGARTH)
Yearling: 5 (0 abs)
1st: COVARNEY LIL' RASCAL JW (MR J & MRS C, MR G & MRS K BAILEY & CONDRON)
Most attractive outline on the stand, clean lines throughout and didn’t disappoint to go over. Presented in top condition. Beautiful head into pleasing front assembly. Correct depth of chest, straight front. Good spring of rib. Well angulated behind with good length of hock. Moved OK but would like to see his handler have the confidence to let him move out and a little quicker as sure he can stride out more than he did today.
2nd: GWENDARIFF GONNA GO FOR GOLD (MESDAMES I & J MCNEIL & BOYD-MCNEIL)
3rd: LYNWOOD LOVE POTION FOR HAVERLEY (MISS A DUFRAT)
Maiden: 7 (0 abs)
1st: WYNJILL WINNER TAKES ALL (J HOLLEY)
2nd: GWENDARIFF PINK FLOYD (MRS R JONES)

Graduate: 9 (3 abs)
1st: GWENDARIFF D'YA KNOW MY NAME BY BARDONHILL JW (MRS M BOTT)
An easy winner of this class. Stood out from the start. A real eye catching boy. My eye just kept being drawn to him. Presented in first class condition. Handled to get the absolute best out of him. Fabulous head. Well put together throughout, with correct lay of shoulder, straight front and correct bend of stifle. Moves with style, holding his top line and covering the ground at ease. One to be taking on the big boys for top honours soon in my opinion. Will watch with interest.
2nd: SANGARAH SHARED ROMANCE WITH POLMENNOR (IMP HUN) (MRS A & MRS T ROBERTS & CORMACK)
An appealing boy in outline on the stand. Plainer in head than one and a little heavy over the shoulder. Good spring of ribs and well muscled rear quarters. Moved with drive.
3rd: CASKEYS SOLAR ECLIPSE AT BLUESPRINGS (MR M J & MRS L C WILLIAMSON)
Post Graduate: 9 (1 abs)
1st: KERRIMERE CHARISMATIC JW (MRS J M LORRIMER)
Just loved this dog for type, full of quality. Honest throughout with no exaggareation. Clean, racy balanced outline. The most beautiful of expressions, with lots of work in his head. Good bone, muscular neck, shoulders well laid back. Strong and muscular throughout. Gently sloping top line, held well on the move.
2nd: CASKEYS MISCHIEF OF STYLERSETTS JW (MR K & MRS LR MACAULAY)
Lots to like about this dog. Again not over done in any way. The most beautiful of heads, with the most appealing of expressions with raised brow. Well balanced, again not over done in anyway. Lovely to go over. Straight front, good bone throughout. Correct spring of rib. Good width to quarters. Covered the ground really well.
3rd: GWENDARIFF PS I LOVE YOU BONHOMIE JW (MRS S E EDWARDS)
Limit: 8 (1 abs)
1st: GWENDARIFF THYME BOMB AT JACWILINS JW (MR W J & MRS J S WILLIS)
Absolutely full of quality. Fills the eye on the stand with his outline and did not disappoint when you go over him, so well made and put together. An excellent example of hard muscular condition, this boys clearly runs. Presentation, first class job. A pleasing head. Strong clean neck into good front. Great depth of chest and spring of rib. Tight feet. Good bone. Correct topline. Well angulated and well-muscled rear quarters. He just didn’t quite put in his best effort on the move today.
2nd: AMBLIN'S SWEET WILLIAM (MRS P MITCHELL)
I have admired this boy for some time and so pleased that I got the chance to judge him. Lovely boy to go over with no exaggeration and of lovely type. Beautiful coat colour which caught the sun, in gleaming condition. Well portioned head, with correct expression and raised brow. Correct length of neck into straight front. Well angulated rear with strong thigh. Would just like to see him reach more in the front on the move.
3rd: GWENDARIFF THE PINK PANTHER OF BONHOMIE (MRS S E EDWARDS)
Open: 4 (0 abs)
1st: SH CH/IR SH CH GWENDARIFF NUTS ABOUTU GLENAVNA JW (MRS C MCLARNON)
Love him. Today was his day, no denying that. He was in top form on performance and in condition. Had that bit of mischief all about him which I absolutely love, although his handler might disagree? Have awarded him best puppy before and it was such a privilege to have the opportunity to judge him again and for him to exceed all expectations. This dog excites me, stands his ground with the most eye catching outline. The most exquisite of heads and expression. Correct length of neck into excellent shoulder placement and angulation. Gently sloping, strong top line. Deep chest and good spring and depth of rib. Strong well angulated hindquarters. Moved with such purpose and drive, holding his head and commanding attention. His handler allowing him to lead the way. Delighted to award him the CC & BOB and he topped the day by winning Group 3.
2nd: SH CH/IR SH CH GWENDARIFF WHIPPERSNAPPER JW CW'15 (MR A & MISS D STEWART & RITCHIE-SMITH)
Another I have judged as a puppy who has certainly grown into the dog I had hoped for and more. A very impressive male on the stand and to go over. He is well balanced with the raciness and of type I love. Gold standard muscular condition throughout and coat presentation, this does not happen overnight. Excellent bone, correct length of neck into strong, straight front. Well angulated, muscled rear end. Gently sloping strong top line, held well on the move. Res CC.
3rd: SH CH THENDARA COMMITMENT JW (MRS D & MR J N MILLIGAN-BOTT & BOTT)
Veteran: 6 (1 abs)
1st: SH CH AVACET SNOWDRIFT (MRS P A HOGARTH)
Have loved this boy before and still do now. The most handsome dog with one of the best heads in my opinion with correct proportions and the raised brow which adds to the most beautiful of expressions. Beautifully put together throughout. Correct front shoulder placement, straight front. Holding his top line well into good hindquarters. Best Veteran.
2nd: SH CH HARVANCOURT HARLEM AT JACINGAIL (MR K & MISS J PULLEN & ATKIN)
A worthy champion in fantastic condition. Strong, sloping top line. Lovely depth of chest, straight front. Appealing head, good stop and correct ear set. Good width of thigh and short hocks. Lovely coat condition. Moved well.

2nd: POLMENNOR FUN IN THE SUN (MR D & MRS F MARMOL)
Minor Puppy: 3 (0 abs)
1st: IXIA RAINBOW BRITE (MR R, MISS H & MR J BOUTTELL & BURBRIDGE)
So feminie througout. The prettiest of heads with dark eye and the most gorgeous expression, pretty and cheeky. Lovely rich coat colour. Nicely angulated in the rear which contributed to her moving out with such perosnality and style. Such a great partnership between puppy and handler, both clearly enjoying themselves and having fun.
2nd: KONAKAKELA JUST MEANT TO BE SIOCHANNA (MRS P, MRS K & MISS D BYRNE, EDWARDS & HOWLETT)
Pretty head, good length of neck. Good lay of shoulder. Straight front and good depth of chest and rib. Just needs to find her shape on the stand but came togther on the move.
3rd: SWIFTLARK SECOND NATURE (MRS S S CORLESS)
Puppy: 6 (2 abs)
1st: GWENDARIFF GUESS WHO'S COMIN TO NORTHAMBER (MR B F & MRS E HINSLEA)
A very promising puppy. The most feminine of heads, with good proportions and dark eye giving an expression that made me smile. Good bone for a baby. Pleasing depth throughout. Tight feet. So together for her age. Lovely length of neck, good topline. Tight front. Neat feet. Nice width to quarters, used well on the move. BPB
2nd: HEATHCLARE FANCY TIME AT VANDERS (MRS J C HOWATSON)
Of a different type to one. A mature baby with more substance. Good depth of chest, straight front. Excellent spring and depth of chest. Pleasing expression with a good stop. Moved really well. The handler had a tendency to over stretch her in the rear which spoilt her shape on the stand.
3rd: IXIA RAINBOW BRITE (MR R, MISS H & MR J BOUTTELL & BURBRIDGE)
Junior : 8 (0 abs)
1st: COVARNEY EVERLASTING LOVE AT BLUEBYEYOU (MRS G BYE)
Of nice type. This girl really came into her own on the move, so lovely to watch. Pretty head with a kind dark eye, raised brow and well set ears. Good length of neck into well placed shoulders and straight front. Good feet. Correct depth of chest, spring of rib and rear angulation.
2nd: BARDONHILL GINGERELLA (MRS M BOTT)
Shouts racy. A quality bitch with a very feminine, appealing head into correct front assembly with well-placed shoulders. In good muscular condition just lacking the coat finish of one today. Correct tight feet.
3rd: TWO ACRES PROMISE OF SPRING WITH AVACET (MRS M ELKINS)
Yearling: 6 (0 abs)
1st: COVARNEY LIL'MINX (MR G T & MRS K E B CONDRON)
Beautiful outline on the stand. Pleasing head would just like a little more work in it. She flows cleanly from head to tail, with elegance and substance. Excellent straight front, good length and strength of neck, super top line and excellent rear assembly and angulation.
2nd: DELSANTO MISS FREYA (MRS D E MCDONALD)
Got her act together on the move in this class as was pacing in the previous class. A feminine, well balanced bitch. Pretty head. Good forechest and spring of rib. Gently sloping top line, short hocks. Rich coat colour. Would prefer a slightly better lay back of shoulder.
3rd: COVARNEY LIL' DIVA (J V & K & G PHILLIPS & CONDRON)
Maiden: 6 (0 abs)
1st: BARDONHILL GINGERELLA (MRS M BOTT)
2nd: GWENDARIFF GUESS WHO'S COMIN TO NORTHAMBER (MR B F & MRS E HINSLEA)
3rd: RIVERBRUE OPHELIA AT GLENNARA (MRS K HALL)
Graduate: 13 (5 abs)
1st: SANDSTREAM SUMMER BREEZE JW (MISS S WATERTON)
Presents a well-balanced, no exaggeration outline. Beautiful, feminine head with correct proportions and soft appealing expression with a touch of mischief. Correct from assembly, with pleasing depth and angulation. Strong, gently sloping top line. Correct bend of stifle and width of thigh. I love to see a wagging tail on the move and she did just this.
2nd: GWENDARIFF ON A ROLLACOASTA (MRS G HYSLOP)
Liked her shape in profile, feminine and racy throughout. Not in her best dress today. Pleasing, pretty head, would prefer a slightly darker eye. Shoulders well placed. Straight, tight front, with good depth of chest. Good width to thigh and well bent stifle. Not wearing her best dress today.
3rd: CASKEYS SHOWTIME WITH BLUESPRINGS (MR M J & MRS L C WILLIAMSON)
Post Graduate: 6 (0 abs)
1st: SANDSTREAM WELCOME BREEZE JW (MISS S WATERTON)
No real surprise to see that she is the litter sister to previous class winner. Stood out in the line-up and pleased me even more when I went over her. A feminine bitch with class and style. Well-constructed throughout. A beautiful, pretty head, with a dark eye, correct stop and ear set. Excellent front and rear assembly. Lovely depth of chest with good spring and depth of rib. I would have liked more enthusiasm on the move in the challenge but I could not deny her excellent qualities and delighted to award her the Res CC. When on form I am sure this lady will hit the top spots.
2nd: GWENDARIFF NUTMEG (MRS R JONES)
I liked this bitch more when I went over her. Very well constructed. Clean outline. Appealing head with the softest of expressions. Well laid shoulders, sloping topline from the withers, strong loin and short hocks. Moved very soundly.
3rd: SWIFTLARK FIRST EDITION (MRS S S CORLESS)
Limit: 10 (2 abs)
1st: GWENDARIFF SUCH A CARRY ON AT BARDONHILL JW (MRS M BOTT)
A scopey, racy, balanced bitch, very clean in outline, flowing from nose to tail. Feminine, long, lean head. Correct length of neck, clean into well placed shoulders. A frim topline, held well on the move and this is where she comes into her own. In hard condition and clearly gets the free running to give her the purpose and drive she demonstrated.
2nd: SUTERESETT MISS CURIOUS ABOUT HENALEAS JW (MRS J A & MR P J HUMPHREYS)
Not the racy scope of one but lots to like about her. Overall very well balanced. Pretty head with a little bit of mischief in her expression which I like. Well laid shoulders, straight front and deep chest. Well sprung ribs. Good width to thigh with short hocks. Very happy and enthusiastic on the move.
3rd: IXIA EVER HOPEFUL (MR R, MISS H & MR J BOUTTELL & BURBRIDGE)
Open: 4 (2 abs)
1st: SH CH GWENDARIFF SODA POP TO WYNJILL (J HOLLEY)
Another I have done well in the past and today she was on top form. Presented in excellent condition, full of class. For type she is right up my street. The most beautiful outline. The best head and expression for me on the day in bitches with a dark eye, raised brow, melting expression. Good length of neck. Excellent front assembly. Good bone. Great hindquarters, with good width and strength. On the move she didn’t put a foot wrong, so lovely to watch, moves effortlessly covering the ground, on a loose lead, just floated, moved at the right pace, and holding her head, top line with style. An absolute pleasure to award her the CC.
2nd: SH CH THENDARA JOCASTA JW (MISS T GARDNER)
A well deserved champion who is full of quality and it was a pleasure to judge her. A larger framed bitch overall than one and plainer in head, however may qualities to admire and appreciate. She excels on the move, so sound, both reaching in front and using her rear to drive, holding her head and top line. Well-made throughout.
Veteran: 1 (0 abs)
1st: SH CH LYNWOOD KISSED BY AN ANGEL AT SANDSTREAM JW SHCM (MISS S WATERTON)
The mother of my Res Bitch CC and winner of Graduate, she has certainly produced her type. In super condition for her age. Beautiful feminine head, and expression with correct proportions. Clean through the neck, shoulder and topline. Deep chest and correct spring of rib. Well angulated hindquarters which she used well on the move. A lovely lady.
