I would like to thank the committee for inviting me to judge for the first time at this level, and of course the exhibitors for allowing me to go over your lovely dogs. I found all the exhibits were well presented and I would like to thank you for the sporting way my decisions were accepted. It was refreshing after nearly a years break to come with fresh eyes and to see new comers into showing our glorious breed. My main concern was the steeply sloping croups that were evident in some exhibits, as the breed standard states “Firm topline gently sloping downwards from the withers” and tail “set on just below the level of the back.” Having said that I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of my day.
