What a wonderful day I had judging outside in the glorious sunshine. Thank you to the Committee for the invitation to judge this lovely show and thank you to the exhibitors for giving me the privilege to go over some really beautiful dogs today.

1. Gardner’s Mayfred Mr Moondance – Handsome dog, correct head-shape and muzzle with kind expressive eyes. Good angulation front and behind giving an eye-catching profile. In good coat and moved well showing no signs of age. Best Veteran

2. Axon’s Brinara Back In The Running

3. Millan’s Landscot Going For Gold

1. Fox’s Satlas Bleau Eyes – What a really beautiful young lady. Gave her BOB 6 yrs ago and at 12yrs old still has that something. Love her head with good reach of neck and super shoulders. Coat condition gave way to the younger dog but just love her.

2. Fox’s Settaside Jelly Bean

1. Randle’s Forfarian’s Hidden Secret With Rionore – This 8mth handsome young dog is very pleasing with good overall shape and outline, very balanced for this stage with good length of neck and well-laid back shoulders. Nicely maturing rich dark coat and typically loving his day out moved happily around the ring.

2. Gisby & Parson’s Suteresett King Of Hearts

3. Lewis & Levene’s Glenlaine Squirrel Nutkinn At Valasarch

1. Gratton’s Glenlaine Flopsy Mopsy – These 8mth old sisters 1st and 2nd showing great promise. Slightly prefer head of 2 but 1 was better balanced and more settled. Be interesting to see them in a few months.

2. Gratton’s Glenlaine Mrs Tiggy Winkle

3. Frampton’s Strathmead Noella

1. Muir & O’Connor’s Gwendariff I’m Coming Out – At 10mths was his first show but looked very striking in outline. Strong handsome head, super neck and shoulders, well muscled for his age and in lovely coat and condition. Moved out really well promising to be a confident born show-off. Best Puppy Dog

2. Randle’s Forfarian’s Hidden Secret With Rionore

3. Gisby & Parson’s Sutteresett King Of Hearts -

1. Hinslea’s Gwendariff Guess Who’s Coming To Northamber – what a quality young bitch so balanced for her age. Saw her at 6 mths and just keeps on getting better. Beautiful expressive arched eye-brows, gently sloping topline, deep chest showing sternum, well angulated behind and with a rich chestnut coat and for 10mths old moved beautifully. Good luck in the future. Best Puppy

2. Gratton’s Glenlaine Flopsy Mopsy

3. Gratton’s Glenlaine Mrs Tiggy Winkle

1. Davis’s Pawsword Prairie Wind – This dog looked a picture standing, strong in body with correct angulation, super deep chest showing stermum, firm straight topline and good tailset. Moved really well, should have a good future.

 2. Kniveton & Allen’s Quensha Starman Aboard Orstone

 3. Stockton’s Riverbrue Alchemist Amidst Kespas

1. Hall’s Riverbrue Ophelia At Glennara – A lovely class but here was a beautiful young bitch that I kept thinking about during that day. So pretty, gentle kind expression yet slightly mischievous. Lovely silky long ears, correct length of neck leading to well-laid back shoulders. Excellent bone, good spring of ribs. Moved as I hoped she would. Loved her. Best Bitch and Res Best in Show

2. Muir’s Romarne April Showers

3. Bott’s Bardonhill Gingerella

1. Kniveton & Allen’s Quensha Starman Aboard Orstone – 2nd in Junior dog. Maturing slow and steady with a lot to like about him, very balanced, loved his head and expression, well angulated throughout and moved really well both before and aft.

2. Stockton’s Riverbrue Alchemist Amidst Kespas

3. Russell’s Strathmead Huckleberry

1. Muir’s Romarne April Showers – 2nd in Junior but a super little bitch and a joy to go over. Sweetest of expressions, lovely arched neck with good shoulders, Good bone and muscle tone, nothing exaggerated, moved happily as expected with strong correct action.

2. Naylor & Morrison’s Anlory Carignan

2. Hoskins’s Sandstream Just A Breeze

3. Nicholls’s Romarne Under Orders

1. Naylor & Morrison’s Anlory Amelia – Lovely class of excellent bitches. Really pretty little bitch shown in perfect condition as always from this kennel. Excelled in correct angulation and muscle tone. Moved with drive and purpose, just needs her furnishings to complete the picture.

2. Russell’s Melmara Georgia

3. Cox & Nevett’s Romarne Orlaith

1. Bott’s Gwendariff D’Ya Know My Name By Bardonhill – Again a beautiful class but I won’t forget this dogs name. Only just over 2yrs old but what a striking dog. The handsomest of heads, loved his expression, Immaculatly presented with rich dark coat. Excelled over the shoulders and croup with neat feet and correct tail set. Even in the heat he moved with drive and conviction wagging his tail as Irish should. Loved him and know he will do well. Best Dog and Best in Show

2. Hyslop’s Gwendariff Justin Thyme

3. Corless’s Swiftlark First Knight

1. Waterton’s Sandstream Welcome Breeze – What striking bitch this girl has matured into. Elegant refined body from nose to tail, well off for bone and muscle and in lovely coat, moved steady if a little lacking in enthusiasm.

2. Naylor & Morrison’s Anlory Corbieres

3. Fox’s Millcroft Bubbling Moon

1. Nicholls’s Delsanto Snow Storm – At 6yrs old now looking his best. Loved his handsome head and expression. Very striking outline with nothing overdone about him just a complete balanced picture, Excelled in good bone and muscle tone and when asked to move looked superb with happy lashing tail.

2. Axon’s Brinara Private Eye

3. Muir’s Romarne Taittinger

1. Bell & Barker-Bell’s Balintyne Say You Say Me – Loved this naughty but very pretty little bitch. So much to like but didn’t show it off today. Mature well-muscled body and good angulation throughout. Moved really well.

2. Gisby’s Suteresett Once Upon A Dream

OPEN DOG (3,1)

1. Cohen’s Caispern Lorenzo With Shushana – Lovely strong boy with classic head. Dark kind eyes and lovely over the muzzle. Arched neck with good shoulders and plenty of heart room. Rich red coat and looked a picture standing and on the move. Res Best Dog

2. Weir’s Deevonville El Condor Passa

1. Bott’s Gwendariff Such a Carry On At Bardonhill – Stood alone but enjoyed showing herself off. Stunning I wrote. Presented really well looked so clean and elegant from her nose to tail but with plenty of bone and substance, scored highly over hind quarters and so as expected moved strong and true over the ground. Res Best Bitch
